With more than 15 years of clinical experience, I have worked in both private practice and integrative medical settings alongside conventional healthcare providers. As a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine, I have additional specialized training in fertility and reproductive health.
My approach combines the traditional diagnostic framework of Chinese medicine with an understanding of current reproductive medicine and clinical research.

How can acupuncture support fertility?
Acupuncture may be used as part of a broader fertility care plan to support menstrual and reproductive health, stress regulation, sleep, and overall wellbeing. I take an individualized approach based on your health history, current research, cycle, fertility goals, and any treatments you may be pursuing. Acupuncture can complement care from your OB/GYN, midwife, reproductive endocrinologist, or fertility clinic.
Can acupuncture help if I'm trying to conceive naturally?
Absolutely. You don't need to be undergoing fertility treatment to benefit from acupuncture. For those trying to conceive without assisted reproductive technology (or simply trying to prepare their mind/body for pregnancy) treatment may focus on menstrual health, cycle patterns, stress, sleep, and other lifestyle factors relevant to your individual situation.
Can you support me through IVF, IUI, or an FET?
Yes. I have worked with patients undergoing assisted reproductive treatment for almost two decades. Acupuncture can be incorporated at different points in the treatment process, depending on your needs and your fertility team's recommendations. We can discuss how acupuncture may fit alongside your treatment plan.
When should I start acupuncture if I'm doing IVF?
There isn't one universal schedule that is right for everyone. Some patients begin acupuncture several weeks or months before a cycle, while others seek care during a specific part of treatment. If you already have a treatment calendar from your fertility clinic, we can use that to determine where acupuncture may fit most appropriately.
What if I’m feeling overwhelmed or not sure what I need?
That’s completely okay. We’ll take time at the beginning of your session to talk through what’s going on and create a plan together.
What if I'm dealing with PCOS, endometriosis, or irregular cycles?
Treatment is individualized rather than based solely on a diagnosis. We'll look at your history, symptoms, and goals to determine how acupuncture may fit into your overall care.
Can you see me around my embryo transfer?
Yes. I offer acupuncture support around FETs when scheduling allows, including appointments outside regular office hours when available. Because transfer timing can vary, please contact me directly if you are looking for pre- or post-transfer acupuncture.
